Show The Sampler, Sept 6, 1984 News from Morale - Support Activities The 1984 Flag Football season is about to kick-ofThe season will begin on September 24 at 1830 hours at the post football.field. The sports office is asking that all rosters be turned in no later than 1730 hours on September 17. Players on any team must fall within; the organization they are associated with. The exception to the rule will be high school players. Only two high school players will be allowed on each team. If you have questions regarding team rosters or high school players call Van Fox or Glenn McGee at 2318 or they can be reached in person at the Outdoor Recreation Center. The schedule for the sea- son will be published in the Sampler. Coaches can stop by the sports office and pick up team registration forms. f. . Softball uniforms Anyone with softball uniforms still out, please get them turned in to James Duarte or your softball coach. He is also handing out trophies to players who missed the award ceremony. Hunter Safety Course at least ten mini classes. For Library more information call Leola Liddiard at 2178. The Library is sponsoring' a Baltimore Album Quilting Class. The class will be . taught by Jeana Kimball and will begin on September 25 at the Post Library. The deadline for registration is September 20 and the fee is $10. Stop by the Library for a list of supplies you'll need. There is also a sample of the quilt on display at the Library. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a series of Dugway youth activities It's registration time again for Bantam and Junior Bowling leagues. All youth interested in participating this year, can register at the youth center. Bowling leagues are slated to begin the second week of September. For more information re garding the leagues please call Toy Ready at 2177 or stop by the youth center. Were also looking for adult volunteers to help with the leagues. Interested? Please call the youth center. Soccer season is also nearing once again. Sign up at the youth center, cost is $7 if you've played before and still have a uniform. The. cost is $17.00 if this is your first year. Call Toy Ready at the youth center for more information. A special thanks goes to Earl Retford and Walter Szarek of the Dugway Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) for their volunteer efforts during the Hunter Safety Course. We have 17 young men participating this year. So far they seem to be en- joying the films, lectures and demonstrations. Next week they start participating on the rifle range.
