DHS Band Wins Region, Chorus The Dugway High School Band received top honors as the outstanding Band at the Region 1 1 Concert Band and Chorus festival held here at Dugway on Wednesday. The DHS Chorus received second. place in the Vocal divi- sion of the competition. Both 'groups per- formed well receiving compliments from the places 2nd Water. They were competing against North Summit, North Rich and Rowland Hall choirs. Even with Dugway s good performance and receiving an excellent rating the first place slot - went to the North Rich group that outshined the other groups. Judges for the competition were David Blackiugton in the instrumental and Ron Staheli The Band competed with .three other for the Vocal. Mr. Blackington is the Head of groups: Tintic, North Summit and Rowland Hall Bands at Brigham Young University and Mr. high schools.
