Show flDIHt THE SAMPLER Friday, April 9, 1982 i7 -- - A- Time for an escape Dugways Troy Jorgensen escaped from his Tooele opponent and then held on to win the 89 pound championship in action last Saturday at the Tooele High School. Along with Jorgensen, Rick Miller (52) and Eugene Kingery (92) also won championships. Third place in roundball tourney Derdc Andrus stole the1 ball with eight seconds left and scored the winning hoop to lift the 5th-6t- h team to its 19-1- 7 win. Members of the team were Jason Rawls, Derek Andrus, Scott grade All-StHoule, Scott Bruce, Mike Morgan, Craig White, Mike LJoyd,' Steve Zaccaidi, Danny Barbero, Don Kubat, Jeff NeO and Rich Houseknecht. .The team was coached by Ed Lloyd and Bob Warren. ar Outdoor Activity Club News Learn to make arrowheads April 12 by SSG Phfl Hale ' you too can learn how the Indians fashioned arrowheads and tools from Obsidian by the chipping method at the next meeting of the Outdoor Activities Club on Monday. Through the gentle and friendly persuasion of Tina Wheeler, Harold Byington has agreed to come demonstrate his handiwork with this ancient method, and there will be plenty of obsidian for everyone to give it a try.
