LEADING the way for the team is Steve Larsen, who is tops in the league in scoring with an 18.6 average. Larsens best effort of the year so far was in his second game against NAGE when he poured in 26 points. Helping Larsen out in the middle and on the boards is Jipi Endahl, who is currently scoring at an eight point clip. In the last couple of games, however, it has been neither of the big men who have sparked the team but rather Brian Atkinson, who has canned 14 and 16 points in his last two outings. Tim Briggs and Tim Madera round out the high scoring Ghosts by averaging 10 and 8 points, respectively, with Briggs having his biggest night against MP2 with 16. THOUGH Dennis Hampton scores only about four a game, the guard has played a big role in getthe ball and is averaging nearly ting his 10 assists a game. Whereas the Ghosts have had quite an easy time so far, the same cannot be said for tarry Skylarks ' HHC team, who have had only one breather, a 20 point win over MP 2, in amassing their 3--0 standing. In their other two ballgames, HHC beat the Air Force 47-3- 8 and NAGE 44-3In their win over the Air Force in their second game. Skylark got good scoring from James Johnson with 13, Mark Brown with 10, Vincent Short with 11 and Eric Newton with nine. BROWN and David Story combined for half of HHCs points in their NAGE victory, amassing 10 and 14 points, respectively. , Also contributing for Skylark at one point or another has been David Eskridge, who scored 11 in the opener, and Albert Cambra with eight in the first game. IN THEIR third game of the season, the Air Force, after being hit with three losses, climbed into the win column with a 45-4- 1 victory over MP2. In that game, the Airmen were ledby David Stevens with 14 and Willie Brown with 11. Brown was also a bright spot in the Air Force sloss to the Devils by 22 points as he scored 21. In their other two defeats, the Airmen have lost to the Ghosts and HHC by an average of only eight and a half points. ALSO contributing in the scoring has been Dwight Houseknecht.with. a total of 28 points in four games, and Bill Geiger, whose best effort so far has been a nine point outing against HHC. ' Eamie Frazier, James Brown and Lennie Williams head up the NAGE contingent which has beatr en MP 2 for their only win of the season. Frazier is in the top five in scoring with 14 points a game with his best effort coming in a 20 point pefor-manc- e against the Devils in their opener. Brown has also had his good moments, most notably a 22 point night against the Ghosts. For the year,. Brown is averaging 10 and a half point per game. WILLIAMS and Bob Boyer have also been consistent for NAGE, scoring eight points per game while Lynn Nelson, in two games, has contributed 13 and eight point performances. In three games apiece, both MP1 teams are having their troubles. Jeff Aschel leads MP 1 with 14 points per game and he receives good support from Tuli Malauulu, who has had 14 and 12 point outings in his last two games. COACH tarry Pedroza is also getting some scoring from Ty Hess, who in his last game contributed eight points. Tony Passarettes MP2 squad is paced by who garnered eight and 12 points in his first of couple games. Mike Martin has also been playing well, picking up a total of 28 points in three games.
