| Show masons entertain the members of lodge no 9 F and A M entertained their wives and sweethearts with an elaborate en at I 1 0 0 F hall tuesday evening in honor of st john s da previous to the exercises of the evening a session of the lodge was held and a reception given in honor of grand master charles S vanan of silt lake at the close of lodge proceedings tin following program was rendered in tte upper hall overture orchestra violin solo ed bonner recitation mrs ir I 1 duet mandolin miss annie bonner and mrs grigs violin solo 1st concerto chas deben t mrs merle damours assisted by miss euby watkins aaion poem david mills robert morris of kentucky guitar musical selection miss maggie bonner mrs merle damours and frank morte selections orchestra af ter laj ing several games of arda the company adjourned to the lower hall which had been handsomely decorated with the national colora alie stage presented a beautiful scene with evergreens and potted plants in tl e center of which was displayed the em blem of the order the square and coin pass illuminated by electricity worshipful master elijah bowen de livered an address of welcome and in cited the seventy five guests present to partake of the bountiful repast of the good things of life at the close of the banquet the following toasts were offered fred alien bhone acting 19 toast master the president of the united states james cleighton freemasonry chas S vanan st john s day E bowen utah S L ware visiting brothers chas kryger our lodge I 1 J barnard A lettjr waa lead from co anty treas aier one of the oldest members of the lodge sending his regrets that he could not be to join in captain hugo chairman ol 01 the arrangement committee deserves great credit for the manner in which the entertainment was gotten up and conducted and he was ably assisted by the following ladies and gentlemen mesdames Mes dimes bowen Iv mr and mrs james crelghton mr and mis D mills mr and mrs kirk endall mr and mrs george A robert son and james knowledg an 1 F A bhone |
