1951 in Twin Falls Idaho to Phyllis and John Aamodt Jr He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1969 and attended Utah Slate University Steve was a good son brother and friend He was preceded in death by his father in 1978 and his mother in 1999 He was very close to his mother and spoke of her often Many times he commented how much he missed her and we know he is with her now Steve loved the outdoors He loved shinning sports in particular and was and avid gun collector He was a life- long member of the National Rifle Association and a strong supporter of our second ' amendment rights He spent most of his work- 'ing life as a carpenter and was well known as a craftsman' who cared about his work Steve loved children He found great joy in their hon- -' esty inquisitiveness and sense of adventure He will be greatly missed by Phillip and Deano Steve was a grizzly bear with a heart of gold Those of us who were able to get past his gruffy exterior knew a man who was kind consider-ate thoughtful intelligent and always a true friend to those in need He lived simply without guile walking the road less traveled He will be missed There will be a wake held in his honor from 4 to 6 pm at
