Show Your week at a stare The theater arts this week and beyond iving day to day isn’t always easy made laundry There are plans to be done errands to run and a list so long we can’t even imagine just taking one day off from the day planner or calendar What would you choose to do with yourself if you didn’t plan anything for a whole day? How a whole week? to-b- e - ' If you are anything like me the thought of not having something ' planned makes you break out in hives OK so I exaggerate I haven’t actually broken oiit in hives but if I find a few moments that are not planned I try to promptly fill them Somehow the problem with planning seems to be that planning to have fun seems like an oxymoron How can you plan to have fun shouldn’t that be spontaneous? Fun does happen when you don’t plan for it but sometimes it is necessary to plan some time to do something enjoyable That’s what this magazine is' all about We try to provide readers with fun activities to add to the calendar such as plays and musical perfor- ' mances As I read through the things coming ' up this month one thing that brought happy memories and a smile to my face was the upcomig jazz band concert at USU on March 5 The smile came from the array of sounds that came to mind The memories conjured were from a few years of learning to play the alto saxophone Though! never mgde first chair I always wished I could be good enough and have enough to join a jazz band Then again is there anyone who played an instrument who didn’t want to see their name in lights or at least as a soloist?
