What is it when to junior comes understand people do not in-sta- Dear Editor I am a prisoner on death row at the Arizona State Prison and I was wondering if you would do me a favor I have been here for quite a while and have no family or friends on the outside to te college recruiting in the state of Utah GEU is at the bottom of most players list This is not because of the community or the people but of the reputation of the football team and problems they have with keccping any organizational structure in the program A young man does not want to come out of high school and get recruited by a coach who might not even be there when the season starts Every year the administration reevaluates the football program and decides whether to keep it or not The past couple of years they have decided to keep the program but after each evaluation they seem to have to blame someone for the downfall of the program and it seems to either be a coach or the players I think it is about time that perhaps the administration takes the blame for what has happened U the football program Somewhere down the line a long- - term committment should have been made by the administration to a coach In almost all winning schools the key to their winning programs has been an established coach backed by years of administrative support If you do not estalish yourself as a coach you will be forced to recruit student athletes from Utah whose "last” choice is to play for CEU Each time CEU has a coaching change all links to successful Utah athletes is severed and we start all over again at the bottom of the barncll That is why CEU has had to rely so heavily on athletes These athletes are unaware ofCEUs past problems and struggles The administration should protect the best interest of their students and in this case they are failing to do so They should take a long hard look at themselves and the position they are in and End an alternative to dropping the football program The administration should remember to the players it is more than a game to them it is their dream and when your dreams die a part of you dies also If the administration can live with this on their conscience then perhaps the dream has already died write to So I was wondering if you would put an ad in your campus newspaper for me for corcspondcnce I am a Caucasian male age 40 who desires corespondence with either male or female college out-of-sta- students te I want to form a friendly relationship and more opr less just exchange past I will experiences and ideas answer all letters and exchange pictures If interested write to Box Florence Arizona 85232 04 Dear Editor REWARD Editor Entertainment Editor—— Feature Editor- Spoils Editor -
