the daughter of Levi Hugh and Jeanette ‘Nettie Nielsen Frnworth She was raised and educated m the Grace area She attended LOS Pusmess College in Salt Lake City for a year She married William "Bill Gibson Condie on March 28 1940 n Salt Lake City Mr Condie passed away Nov 23 1970 They moved to Thatcher Idaho in 1940 and moved back to Grace m the early 1970s She was a member of the Grace LDS 2nd Ward She had served as Junior Sunday School coordinator and in the Relief Society in Cleveland Ward for many years and was a faithful visiting teacher She loved to smg and participated in many ward and stake choirs She enjoyed gardening traveling quilting homemaking and giving parties for friends She was a member of the HYN Club Daughters of Utah Pioneers and was a Caribou County Fair worker for many years She is survived by two sons and a daughter and their spouses William Kay and Gayle Condie of Soda Springs Idaho Terry Lynn and Valda Condie of Willard and Daryla Gay and Gregory Cox of her Heavenly Father on Oct 1 1996 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident She was born July 23 1916 in Idaho Falls She was the fourth of seven children born to James R and Idaho Rhoda Miller Thorpe She married Marvm Larsen Poppleton on Dec 13 1933 m Ogden The marriage was later solemnized m the Logan LDS Temple on March 71941 She attended schools in Montana and Utah Throughout her life she served in various capacities in the organizations of the church She especially enjoyed working with the youth She was a very friendly and outgoing person She made many friends through her employment at Wmgeta Albertson's and her 18 years at Keith O'Brien where she Milo Hugh Farnworth and Vonda Hegstrom both of Grace Idaho She was preceded in death by two grandsons and a granddaughter was a valued employee and received several sales awards She enjoyed cooking sewing visiting with friends and telling stones of the past Her gieatest joy was her famrfy She is survived by her children Marvin Roy (Tamara) Poppleton of Wellsville and Cozette (Larry) Anderson of Bountiful a sister Helen Brown of Promontory 12 grandchildren and 16 n She was preceded In death by her husband Infant daughter Marvalee and daughter Nedra Woodland We writ greatly miss being greeted by her smile her special spirit in uplifting those around her and her remarkable generosity She was a great example in
