A IN HIS APPENDIX strange case of a young map who suffered from irom I f rom appendicitis within a period ot of less ess than twelve months clarence lowe of Morris morrisville ville N Y has suffered from three severe and prolonged attacks of appendicitis I 1 the last attack came on about three weeks ago ma making maing ing no permanent im provement pro the attending physicians decided that an operation would be necessary to save the patients patient a life and a few days ago the appendix was removed the surgeons mere a ere dum founded to find that the severed appendix contained what closely lesem bled a smooth stone or some hard sub stance nearly an inch in length and rese resembling abling a filbert the doctors are strongly of the opinion that the ball gradually formed in the appendix as the opening of the appendix la Is much too small to admit ot of the passage of any hard substance of the size of the one they found the young man la Is making rapid recovery
