curious lawsuit in ceylon A curious lawsuit regarding the ownership ot of lands was tried recently la in ceylon the trouble originated at an archery competition held by king rania bahu VI who ruled over ceylon in the fifteenth century in which there were two eliam champions who outdistanced all the rest and alike hit every mark that was submitted to them the king was about to divide the prize when from a neighboring pond a frog was heard to croak the king seized upon a solution and declared that whichever could hit the frog aiming only by ear should gain the prize one of the archers trans fixed the frog with the arrow so delighted was the monarch that besides the original prize he gave to the win ner an estate of 50 acres the present claimants in the lawsuit were the descendants of the archer
