MINERS MUST VACATE STRIKERS NOT PERMITTED TO LIVE IN COMPANY HOUSES those who have their homes on company lands have been given notice to vacate by dec dee 31 the first steps toward evicting the striking miners were begun at clear creek winter quarters and scofield monday morning daml ies les that have their own homes on land owned by the operators were formally served with notice to vacate the property by december 31 others were given a shorter shift there were some mur durings and gome some tears but there was no violence during the entire day at the three mining towns not a single case of attack on an officer was reported
