The estimated $25 million by the way is an inflated figure Why do I say that? The State Historical Society stated that many items included in the estimates were not necessary Forexamplc a historic building is not required to install an elevator for handicapped access That alone would cost a considerable amount i Asbestos removal was also listed yet current requirements state that asbestos should be sealed and left in place The unnecessary removal of asbestos in the tabernacle would be extremely costly Subtract that cost from those quotes of $25 million as well Then ask yourself this: Why were those costs included? What other unnecessary costs are liked? And why do other items differ so much from costs on similar projects? These questions must be asked and they must be answered Only then can the question of the restoration or destruction of the tabernacle be In his sparkling address to a Republican realistically evaluated audience in Washington several months ago former President Reagan noted that President Kathleen J Hanna Clinton has tried to preempt a number of Wellsville Republican (or if you prefer conservative) issues: notably welfare reform and crime Mr Reagan went on to quote the old saw Coray not for ‘big government’ that “Imitation is the sinccrcst form of flatTo the editor tery” but then added with a twinkle in his eye Being misinformed and repeating a wrong assumption has no place in “In this case however it isn’t flattery — it’s the democratic process of our great country I feel badly that I did not grand larceny” Well actually of course it’s both Mr speak up as soon as I heard of this kind of an error and I’m making my and focus groups tell him apology public so that a wrong can be rectified Maybe others will (earn from my mistake and not be led into spreading false information or as I unmistakably that the American people are did let the bad rumor go by without speaking out still in a thoroughly conservative mood and ft was said that Bobbie Goray was a “big government” candidate If that crime and the welfare mess are at or near “big government” means taxation without representation that’s not the lop of their list of public concerns He can Bobbie Goray She is a people person and a problem solver without whip up a certain amount of support for makspending “big bucks” Her ream of honest hard work in our communiing sure that every American has health insurty proves this She has been a volunteer before getting into the political ance — an issue far closer to liberal arena I dare say that she values the statement of: “It’s better to teach Democratic hearts because it promises to people to fish than to give out the fish” bring under government control another huge To list her own volunteerism would take loo much space but I would segment of the economy and to make every be wrong not to mention her work in bringing about Lundstrom Park American a lifelong government dependent and the PTA as well as Summerfest and Community Action Commitin 1996 he must But to win tees The list goes on but the point is made that Bobbie Coray is not address or at least pretend to address the issues of crime and welfare reform “big government” candidate and volunteerism is very much needed Years ago I had a major concern and I had a private meeting with The trouble is that any bill that tries to rape my US Congress representative Jim Hansen to ask what could be seriously with cither problem is guaranteed to done His answer to me was not to worry He will take care of it lie offend major Democratic constituencies So didn't have any suggestions as to how I could help I went away from Mr Ginton has thrown his support behind a that meeting feeling left out I wasn’t a part of the governmental process “crime bill” and a “welfare reform bill” that of making changes or preserving what we had Bobbie Goray would say “Let’s get informed and get more people involved March on Washington!” Be a voice for better government Let’s make a change and get Bobbie Goray into Congress Is Clinton filching Republican issues?
