There are quite a few people that are now employed at Carroll Foods, the Hog Farm, that have been living in and been an important part of our community. The labeling of the 'Hog Farm' people isn't fair to these people of their co-workers. These people will influence new employees and with some encouragement from our community and civic leaders to the management of Carroll Foods to screen their employees carefully, our quality of life does not have to be in jeopardy. Thursday, October 20th for the assembly to © ' take place on Tuesday October 25th at 8:00 a.m.. After hearing the ‘ grumblings around town and ‘a few phone calls, the community invitation must have gotten ‘lost in the mail' so to speak because many parents would have oe but did not know. After doing some checking, the handouts for the assembly-were printed on - ~ NOVEMBER 4, 1994 — i.e. open blades, lighters, matches, durable instruments in the form of bars, pipes, bats and rods, wire line, rope, fireworks, chemicals, explosives, firearms, candy, gum, drinks, food, "WE gave YOU Collectively, have forced hats, bulky clothing. thought WE could trust you. WE a chance to prove us right. . YOU proved us wrong. YOU our hand to take away the privileges that YOU repeatedly abused. In order to save the staff, student body, the buildings and campus from the misuse of the fore mentioned items, a prohibition of these items will be enforced by all staff members 7 the student body."
