Show PAGE 9 ORDINANCE NO, 94-03 (continued from page 4) Legislature, in its 1994 general session, provided a procedure for creating agriculture protection areas by enactment of SB 227 as codified in Utah Code Annotated Title 17, Chapter 41. C.. The Beaver County Commission finds that it is in the best interest of the residents of Beaver County to establish an Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board as required Section. under 17-41-2011, Utah Code Annotated (1953), and to create acreage limitations, . fee schedules and other procedures regarding review and consideration of proposals _ to create agriculture protection areas. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Beaver County, Utah: Section by Ordinance Enacted. The Revised Ordinances of Beaver County, 1989, are hereby amended by ‘enactment of the following as Chapter 5-200 entitled "Agriculture Protection Areas": CHAPTER 5-200. AGRICULTURE PROTECTION AREAS. SECTION 5-210. AGRICULTURE PROTECTION AREA ADVISORY An BOARD. Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board is hereby established for Beaver County pursuant to Utah Code Annotated Section 17-41-201 to perform the duties set out in Section 17-41-210 or any later amendment or enactment of that section. SECTION APPOINTMENT MEMBERS. The JULY 1, 1994 Dodge City News Board 5-07 1. The selection of a Beaver County employee to serve as secretary must be approved by the Board of County Commissioners of Beaver County, Utah. SECTION 5-214. QUORUM AND RULES OF OPERATION. Any three (3) members of the Agriculture Protection PROTECTION PROPOSALS.
