Washington Friday to resume talks on a superpower summit between President Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev the White House announced today "The president welcomes the visit” said White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater said adding that Shevardnadze will deliver a letter from Gorbachev to Reagan “We have no idea of its content" he added en route to the US Military Academy at West Point NY where
