| Show PASS TEST IN II DRAFT Yeste yesterday raly morning the first 12 men called under the selective draft tor for ex examination aminat itil were passed upon by the local board with the exception of two who didiot did not appear one of these registered here mi all circus day and gave his home at kansas city he Is an alien the other is a resident ot of the tha county and no word has come to the draft board as aa to his whereabouts both of these men will be turne dover over to the federal authorities tor for disposition of their cases with these exceptions the work of the board has gone along smoothly yesterday out of the men examined two were accepted they are am joseph ether of grouse creek and thomas edward doman of riverside today thirteen men were examined and five passed the test arid and were accepted they are cyrus colby clay of south willard Wll lard john chester knudson of this city lester A hubbard of willard Wll lard thomas clifford woodland ot of willard and howard richardson of tremonton Tre monton R D no nap 2 aad A r ol of others passed the physical test but they are married men with dependants be it said to the credit of all of them not one claimed exemption but will ill leave that matter to one or of their dependants all the men who have appeared before the draft board have evidenced a desire to serve their country and accept the call now made of them tomorrow the last thirteen men under the first call will ivill be examined and it Is almost a fo foregone conclusion that the quota of 19 for this county will not be secured so that a second drawing will be made |
