Show Wednesday, July 3, 1974 s-aii- mm Page CITY U.L.T.A. The Utah Land Title Association made use of Resort lodging and facilities to conduct business and pleasure activities this past week. The approximately one hundred and fifty members and spouses arrived on Thursday, June 27th and were greeted by Mayor John Price. CAR 19 EXPANSION The Car is currently in the process of expanding their lounge area. The expansion entails the addition of the old Emporium building to the existing facilities. The construction work is scheduled to be completed in seven or eight weeks. 19 U.L.T.A. CATHOLIC MISSION The Saint Mary of Assumption Catholic Church will conduct a mission from July 7th to July 12th at the church. The mission will begin at 7 PM nightly and will be highlighted by the talks of a PaiUist Missionary. Everyone is invited to attend. On Monday, June 10th, Mrs. Grant Luttmer was elected president of the Elder Society. Mrs. James Mumin was elected vice president, Mrs. Dan Moulton became secretary, and Mrs. William Mumin was voted treasurer. MISS SUMMIT COUNTY TEA The Silver King Lodge hosted a tea for Miss Summit County contestants on Saturday, June 29th. The tea was a get-acquaint- ed 9 vehicle for the entrants and their parents. The Miss Summit County Contest will be held in Coalville on Saturday, July 13th. The competition will consist of appearance judging in bathing suits and gowns, a talent presentation, and an interview with the judges. The winner of the contest will represent Summit County in the Miss Utah and Miss Utah State Fair contests as well as participating in numerous parades and func- SAYS IT ALL IT tions. GOLF TOURNAMENT Sunday, June 30th , marked the Third Annual Arthritis Benefit Golf Tournament. The tournament was held at the Park City Golf Course. There were sixty entrants who completed the eighteen hole tournament round. ap-prosimat- ely EMPLOYEE INSURANCE Municipal employees of Park City met last week to hear a presentation on an alternative insurance plan. Representatives from the consulting firm of Galbraith and Green informed the employees as to the possibility of implementing an insurance program other than the Blue Cross-Blu- e Shield plan which is currently in effect. Galbraith and Green are presently in charge of the insurance plan employed by the Utah League of Cities and Towns. No decision was reached by the city workers. , TRIVIA TEST Trivia Test triumph was scored by Jim Abbate last week. Jim won a free lunch compliments of the Eating Establishment by naming Sam and Dave as the recording artists who sang Hold On, Im Coming', Duncan Reynaldo as the actor who played the Cisco Kid, and Alamo Dave Mueller as the formulator of the now softball is their famous phrase, Maybe slow-pitc- h game.
