FISHING ROUNDUPS As Fish CENTRAL UTAH related and the Utah by (iame Division TIBBLE FORK RES. - Fishing has been excellent for brown and brook trout using cheese and salmon eggs. FAIRVIEW LAKES - This lake has just recently been planted and fishing should be good . PALISADE LAKE - Fishing has been excellent for rainbow and should continue to be excellent because of little pressure. fair for crappie using light doll flies; good for bass and catfish. Bass spawn is completed and bass are going into deeper water. NORTHERN UTAH BIRCH CREEK RES. - Good for rainbow using baits. CAUSEY RES. - Fair for rainbow , brook, cutthroat and brown trout using baits. Best from boats, slow from shore. EAST CANYON RES. - Good for rainbow and kokanee; best trolling with pop gear and worm; shore fishing best on North side. Fair for cutthroat and rainbow; DEER CREEK RES. - Fishing has been good for rainbow and brown trout. Trailers have had the best luck. LOST CREEK RES. - UPPER PROVO RIVER - Fishing has been poor 'due to high waters. PINEVIEW RES. - Good for rainbow trolling with popgear and worm or orange triple teaser. South shore good using worms and marshmallows. STRAWBERRY RES. - Fishing has been fair to excellent for rainbow and cutthroat; best success trolling with flatfish or pop gear. SILVER LAKE - Has not been planted as yet, but brook trout have reproduced naturally with small inch fish being caught. 8--10 SETTLEMENT CANYON RES. - Fishing using worms and salmon eggs. has been good RED LAKE - Fishing is good with fish somewhat small. best from boats. PORCUPINE RES. - Good to excellent for rainbow and kokanee; boat and shore fishing both good; worms best bait. ROCKPORT RES. - Fair to good for rainbow; boats doing best trolling; shore fishing rather slow. Poor to good for rainbow, cutthroat and brook. Highway 150 is open, but most lakes still frozen. Lakes now open are: Bridger, China, Marsh, and Hoop Lake. UINTA LAKES - SOUTHERN UTAH SOUTHEASTERN UTAH for rainbow and cutthroat with SCOFIELD RES. sizes ranging from 10 to 12 inches. - Good JOES VALLEY RES. - Good for rainbow; bait fishing best from shore, fishing from boats slightly slower. COTTONWOOD CREEK - Good for rainbow and brook PUFFER LAKE - Good to excellent for brook and rainbow 10 to 12 inches long. MINERSVILLE RES. - Excellent for rainbow; all lures and baits were good on opening day; fishing has slowed down somewhat but is still good. trout. OTTER CREEK RES. - Excellent for rainbow from 3 pounds from both boat and shore. MILLSITE RES. - Good for rainbow with some natural cutthroat trout being taken. Pressure was light on opening. OTTER CREEK - Good for brown trout using worms; fish up to lb. being taken. MILLERS FLAT RES. - Good for rainbow averaging 10 inches. Access from Joes Valley good; from Huntington Canyon road rough and closed periodically for construction at Electric Lake. CLEVELAND RES. - Good for rainbow, best with bait from shore ; boat fishing slow. BLANDING RES. long. - Good for rainbow up to LAKE POWELL (Upper reaches) - 12 inches Good for rainbow; 1 to PANGUITCH LAKE - Fair for rainbow with fish small -- 9 to 10 inches. PINE LAKE - Good for rainbow from 10 inches to 4 pounds ; good for brook up to 14 inches. PINE VALLEY RES. - Good for rainbow and brook using baits. LOWER ENTERPRISE RES. - Good for rainbow; boat fishing best with some large fish being caught from shore.
