Show Wednesday, June mm 12, 1371 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING Page 6 Thursday, June 6th. the Park City Council held a special Coun-cilme- n meeting at City Hall. All were present with the exception of Clements Hansen. The first item of business concerned the cost of the Main Street Improvement District with regard to awarding the contract to Valley Asphalt, Inc. Wayne Mathews recommended that be deleted from the landscaping allowance. This would bring the total cost of the project to $168,006.47. A problem arose in the ensuing discussion as to the School District's ability to pay its portion of the assessment. It was suggested that the balance of the cost be funded from general funds. However, City Attorney Carl Nemelka stated that such use of general funds would be illegal. It was moved, seconded, and carried that the awarding of the contract be tabled until further legal advice could be supplied by City Attorney Nemelka. City Recorder Bruce Decker presented a list of expenditures from the Revenue Sharing Fund to be approved for publication. An agreement concerning drug and alcohol abuse among Summit County, Park City Municipal Corporation, and the Park City School District was presented by Citv Attorney Nemelka and ap $1,601.77 Richard Martinez, John Price, Jan Wilking, Leon Uriarte, Mary Lehmer. 359-223- 3 DON PRESCOTT proved by the Council. Mr. Nemelka also presented an amended agreement between Builders and Park City Municipal Corporation. The agreement was tabled for further study by the Council. A zoning change from to Monday, June 10th, the City Council met with Summit County Commissioner Mel Flinders. The applicants were: Jack Green, Dan Gaber, Tom Averill, Craig Masters, and Anne Clark. All applicants, with the exception of Anne Clark, were interviewed by the Council.
