Show Wednesday, April 10, 1974 THE PARK CITY cuim Page 7 BOND ELECTION SHOW LiWIS The Citizens Building Advisory Committee, reporting at the April 2nd meeting of the Board of 5 Education, recommended that the School Board proceed with plans for a bond election. They further stated that the Board should move as rapidly as possible to meet the critical building needs of the school district. Beading to this recommendation, the School Board passed a resolution to hold a school building bond election on May 14th. No Bones About It This weeks canine conglomerate consists of nine nameless pups. The mother of the group is Bones and she belongs to Jan Janse. Jan makes no bones about the fact that he is very willing to part with any or all of the young ones. Already barking and growling, the pups w'ould make great watch dogs. old Bones, a black Labrador Retriever, has lived in Park City since last summer. Mr. Janse found Bones as a stray in Topanga Canyon, California, while he was building a castle on a miniature golf course. She is evidently unfamiliar eight-week-o- ld year-and-a-ha- lf with maternal procedure. She deposited her youngsters all over the house and up and down the street causing Jan and his roommate Ron Auth. to give chase and pickup after the litter bug. in the include line puppy production local Frodo and Cocaine, among others. Other actions taken by the School Board include adoption of next years school calendar and acceptance of a school bus bid. The 1974-7- 5 school year will commence on August 23rd and terminate on May 23rd. The bid from Mawhinney Motors on a new school bus was approved.. The bus, which will cost $13,000 will have a Superior body and will be capable of carrying sixty-si- x passengers. Fatherly participants 649-827- THANKS FOLKS We had just left Denver on a lark. Holiday Inn Is In Then, suddenly Ramblin screamed did ya see that, got Greater Park City Company today confirmed that a group of local businessmen are negotiating with the Company to buy land for the building of a hotel that will operate under a Holiday Inn franchise. The Company stressed that the architecture of the hotel will be controlled by Greater Park City Company, and that it would conform to the Victorian style used on the ticket building and other structures at the resort center! We will not allow large neon signs on any of the buildings to be built on land we sell." said J.Warren King, GPPC president. "Included in our contract to sell land is our right to review the design of the buildings." The property being considered by the local group is located on the corner of Highway 224 and the road to Heber City, on the side of the old ball park.
