Show r 1 T. i SALT FLAT NEWS DECEMBER, 1970 Twenty youngsters from the Goshute Indian Reservation, on the isolated border of western Utah, were treated to Christmas in the city" this year. The children, many of whom have not seen electric lights or tall buildings, were hosted to two days of Christmas as part of an annual program sponsored by the Bank of Salt Lake. While in Utahs capital city, they were treated to the glittering lights of Temple Square and the downtown area, a Utah Stars basketball game, Hogle Zoo and such simple experiences as hamburgers at a drive-in- , television and motel were capped Festivities living. in a visit to Valley Fair Mall, where each child was given, money and allowed to make his own Christmas purchases and got to sit on Santa Claus lap.
