Her husband, Richard N. Hunt, is vice president of Hecla Mining Co., and is the former vice president and chief geologist of the United States Smelting, Refining and Mining Co. The victim was born in London, Sept. 30, 1893 to Herbert E. and Gertrude Stone Prior. On July 6, 1929 she married Mr Hunt .1 St. Just, Cornwall, England. She was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband and two sons, John P., El Salvador, Chile: Jeremy S., a student at the University of Cologne, West Germany. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at St. Marks Cathedral. Norman T. Van Pelt Norman T. Van Pelt, 60, 1355 Miller Ave. (3175 South,) died Dec. 11 in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Masonic Temple. Mr Van Pelt was named Utah's first boating supervisor in 1958 under the Utah Park and Recreation Commission. He has been the travel manager for the Utah State Auto Assn, since 1960. For 15 years prior to coming to Salt Lake in 1955, Mr Van Pelt was employed in the San Diego city managers office. He was born Sept. 21, 1902 in Salida, Colo., to Nelson and Alice Duffy Van Pelt. On Feb. 22, 1947, he married Arvella Stratton in San Diego, Calif. Survivors include his widow and a son, Norman T. Van Pelt Jr., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; one grandchild; a sister, Mrs Dorothy Parkinson, Chula Vista, Calif. Burial was in the Elysiaa Burial Gardens.
