It indudes $210 million for grants to 615 regionally accredited, privately supported liberal arts and science colleges and to help them raise salaries. Approximately 3,500 privately supported hospitals will receive $200 million to help them improve and extend their services to the public, and $90 million is for privately supported medical schools to help them strengthen their instruction. Three educational institutions in Utah have been chosen by the Ford Foundation. The Brigham Young University, Provo, will receive $1,030,100; College of St. Mary of the Wasatch, Salt Lake City, 59,000, and Westminster College, 78,700. These three institutions will receive faculty endowments grants.
