Throughout the year this newspaper has reflected what you have done and we believe it is a good record. We have, in many cases, made suggestions, and carried on campaigns. Many of you have been kind enough to give us credit for some of the community's achievements. But. whatever wo may have done, could never have been accomplished without your work. Each of you is an important part of the framework of this community. And our community fits into a pattern with thousands of other towns, each with its own newspaper. reflecting the town's growth. Church bells peal out, and the beautiful hymns, "Joy to the World" and "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, fill the air. Nor have the aged, the ill and the unfortunate in the town been forgotten. Gifts have been sent to them, and parlies will be held in the hospitals, in the Home for the Aged and in the Orphans homes. Yes, this is the way we keep Christmas in the free world. May God grant us the spiritual power and strength to keep Christmas always and always.
