Purchase of a 250 acre fram on the Strawberrry River has made the expansion project feasible. Despite the high cost of upgrading the herd each year, the enterprise has paid a $75,000 bonus for the past two years to Tribal members. The enterprise has enabled the tribe to turn 900,000 acres of desolate Indian land into a money making endeavor. In addition to summer grazing land at the North Unit in the Uintah Mountains and at the South Unit at Hillcreek, the Enterprise operates farms to .raise feed and winter the herd at Randlett, Willow Creek, Arcadia and Strawberry, and a calving shed and feedlot at Bluebell.
