Show Major Oil cries overcharge, and files Major Oil Corp. and Arizona Fuels Corp. have filed a $17.5 million suit against Flying Diamond Oil Corp., charging the company with a $250,000 overcharge and claiming it tried to secure unlawful transfers of the assets, income and operating capital of Major Oil. According to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court, Salt Lake City, Flying Diamond and Major Oil sign ed an oil purchase agreement in January, 1975, and that it has been prohibited from paying it to Major. Alumet EIS The Alumet Company, Golden, Colo., said the final environmental impact statement it prepared for the proposed alunite processing plant in Beaver County, Utah has been released by the Department of Interior. The company said copies are through the Salt Lake BLM office. Alumet is a consortium of companies planning an alunite processing plant, mine, water system and transportation system in Beaver County. The plant would produce 500,000 tons of alumina, 370,000 tons of potassium sulfate fertilizer, up to 1.7 million tons of phosphate fertilizers and up to 20,000 tons of aluminum fluoride. Alumet said it would employ approximately 1,000 workers at the complex.
