Hampton October 24, 1972 Utah Woman's Review Lucybeth and I would like to take this to extend our deepest appreciation to Marge Miller opportunity and the staff of Utah Homan's Review for the continued efforts to promote the development and furtherance of those programs in our state which are primarily concerned with the welfare of women within the State of Utah. In recent years the voice of Utah's women has had a dramatic influence on the direction of local and state The success of many Utah women's organizations in programs. both the professional area as well as the private service organizational structure has encouraged other women to realize that they can achieve change. more GOVERNOR RAMPTON Today, the 78,000 Utah women who have joined various professional women's groups, including the Women's legislative Council, the Business and Professional organizations and others, are ample evidence that for "every hope that they entertain they are willing to commit themselves to perform the task." Quite honestly, I doubt there is any group which has on achieving a greater recognition of the status of than those women who have voluntarily served on the Governor's Advisory Committee on Women's Programs which had a was greater impact women established in 1968. My congratulations to each of you who have made that personal commitment to your community and state, and we would like to extend to you our wish for a Happy Thanksgiving for you, your family and friends. Our Symphony, Tabernacle Choir, Repertory Dance Theatre, and drmaa Ballet, In addition other in the are arts opportunities certainly to be coveted by other areas. He In Utah we enjoy the "good life". good homes, association with good much to be thankful for. Most of us enjoy good Jobs, good schools, people, good government.
