Show druggie. The victim was lied up to his bed for one year exactly, and given extreme amounts of drugs, with little food. The extreme amount of drugs turned his brain to mush. He was not physically dead when the detectives got to him, but he would have been better off if he was. Also his hand was cut off to leave fingerprints at the lawyers office. A hooker was the next to die. She was guilty of lust and killed with some crazy instrument of sex and torture at an S&M club. The fifth person was a vain lady, guilty of pride. Her nose was cut off to spite her face. She was killed with a phone glued to her hand, but she didnt call for help due to her vanity. The last two murders are probably the two mast intense of the bunch, so I am not going to tell about them. I am trying to get you to wa(ch the show, unless you are like the ride disclaimers at Lagoon say: pregnant, weak of stomach or have a heart condition. I dont recommend it for everyone. If you are in the habit of not watching very many R" rated shows, do not get this one. However if a little death, some graphic scenes and an over- - demented story doesn't bother you, check it out! Oh yeah, pregnant women can really watch Paul Covington Super Man's Worst Fear time (all 19 years of it) I have seen some pretty twisted shows. Wow, this one is right up there at the top of the list. It's CRAZY. I mean a guy killing people to gel the point across that sin is bad. It seems a little odd to me, doesn't it to you? I will say, though, .that the movie seven, (of all the twisted movies) does have the best story line, not to, mention the best acting. I dont want to spoil seven for you by telling you too much, but I will tell a good amount of it, because I know most of the sane people on this campus wont, but should, get this movie. A lot of people I have talked to have been warned about it. I would be lying if 1 said there wasnt any disturbing scenes in seven, so 1 will tell you right out that some of the scenes may be considered offensive-tthose with weak stomachs. OK, on to the story. A new police detective, Detective David Mills (Brad Pitt) is teamed up with an older, retiring In my New York sculptor, Joan Giordano's work continues to be shown in CEU's Gallery East through April 1 2 in the Main Building. detective, Detective William Sommcrsct (Morgan Freeman). They get assigned to the case of this crazy guy, well call an extremist, who is killing people who are guilty of one of the seven deadly sins, hence the name seven. The murderer, who in the end is just called John Doe, (Kevin Spaccy) has taken time to plan each murder out in detail, figuring out everything, down to the idea of cutting off the skin on his finger tips so that no prints will be left. The good thing is that all the murders arc executed in a way dealing with the sin, (if you can call that good). The first man found is an obese man, guilty of gluttony. He was force-fe- d spaghetti until he died. Good stuff huh! We move to an lawyer, guilty of greed. He bled to death.
