Show TEST RUN, Dugway Proving Ground, Friday, January 14, 1966 Cowboys Overwhelm DHS Mustangs basketball fani Grantiville liked what they saw Friday night in the locale gym as the Cowboys completely overwhelmed the Mustangs from Dugway to win an easy 8 victory. Ron Strom berg, sis foot one-inc- h Senior forward put the Cowboys into an early lead as the other starters couldn't seem to find the hoop, but, as the game warmed up Crantsville pulled steadily away and before half- time Coach Williams had a 24 I point lead and had his five starters sitting on the bench. THE CRANTSVILLE crew i came up with a sticky man to ' man defense which proved most effective and allowed Dugway few good shots. Denny Bearden musseled in for two early goals and was high for Dugway with 13. Norton had 10. The first quarter ended with the home team in front by ten points, 19 to 9 and from then on there was little doubt as to the ' outcome. The Cowboys gained another 14 before half time to go out at intermission leading 43 to 19. As foe second half opened, Crantsvi lies first five shots hit the strings and in six minutes they outscored Dugway 20 to 4 and die reserves took over. DENNY Anderson got a knee to the jaw in the finale minute of play but was not seriously hurt. The entire team had good moments Friday. Don Nelson was high man on the court with 22, Ron Stromberg had 19, Larry Palmer played a strong game and came up with 12, Randy Worthington had 10. Your dependents could endure hardships because of late receipt of the allotment check. Class E allotments for savings can lose 'Interest because of late delivery. In any case, you and your dependents want to insure timely receipt by furnishing proper addresses for all allotments and U.S. savings bonds. With each check or bond being sent overseas, a card b included. Checks or bonds mailed within CONUS will include the same type card every third month. These cards can be used at any time to notify the Finance Center of a new address. When there b no card available to either or your dependent, a letter you or post card can be sent to the Finance Center, U. S. Army, Attn: Allotments and Deposits Operations, Indianapolis, Indiana 46249 including the following: Name and service number of member; Type of allotment in effect; Name and address of recipient, including street address, city, state, and zip code. There b only one way to approach the problem of undeliverable checks and bonds.
