Show Lewiston Families Visit, Travel by Laree Bodily Marge Titensor, Sherwin Lewiston A idle are very proud farewell testimonial for Ber-geso- n, Ilymas-parents-Micha- their Louise Layne has returned to her home after visiting for five weeks in Downey, Cali' fornia. She was the guest of her son and daughter-in-laAlan and Bonnie Layne, and their daughters. She also visited with her brother, Alton Gessel and his wife at Encino, Calif., and with a niece Julie Gessel. A ten-da- y trip to Arizona was a fun vacation for Howard and Gwen Taylor. Most of their time was spent in Mesa and Yuma where they visited with Lowell and Anaheim, Calif. Speakers were Phil Tom Durrant, Shirley and Art of new brother. Michael Ilyinas was held last week in the Lewiston Fourth Ward. Michael will be serving as a missionary in el Ilymas and Bishop Raymond G. Anderson, Fairview, Wyo., formerly of Hunter, Utah. Bishop Garr B. Morrison also spoke briefly. The closing Hymn was T.ove At Home, a favorite of the Ilymas family. Fifty members of the Le-laCottle family gathered together for Sunday afternoon dinner in celebration of Mr. Cottle's 75th birthday. Enjoying the afternoon at the family home were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hulse of Kimerley, Idaho; their daughter, Sue and their son, Keith and his two children, Vicki and Russell. Mrs. Elra Hatch is up and about now after suffering from injuries resulting from a fall some weeks ago. Naomi and Boyd Christiansen of Logan visited Mrs. Christiansen's mother, Mrs. Norman Christensen Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Christensen hasn't been feeling well re Max Caldwell, an instructor at Utah State University Institute of Religion, gave an inspiring message in Sacrament meeting Sunday. He spoke on the subject, What Shall I Do Then With Jesus?" a statement made by Pilate at the conclusion of the trial of Jesus Christ. The Relief Society Chorus under the direction of Luclla Payne provided music for the meeting. Wednesday evening in the Trenton Town Hall a meeting .was held under the direction of the Logan Junior Chamber of Commerce for the purpose of organizing a J.C. Chapter in this area. Residents of Trenton, Newton and Clarkston were in- - vited to this introductory meeting. Wards Hold Work Days The Fifth Ward LDS Work meeting was conducted Tues day by President Jan Eg- bert. Carol Robinson read the words of the hymn to the musical accompaniment; a vocal solo, Calvary was sung .by Mr. Vivian Nalder with accompaniment by Helen Szat. The Lewiston Second Ward Sacrament meeting featured some special Easter numbers by the ward choir and talks by Jenis Glover, Claine Baird and Ron Hansen.
