Smith-fielwere conducted Saturday in the Smithfield Fourth-Eight- h Ward chapel, with Bishop Earl Lindley officiating. Mr. Coleman died Wednesday at the Logan Hospital. He was born Jan. 2. 1896, in Smithfield, a son of John and Khoda Ann Smith Coleman. He married Bernicce Wilcox June 6, 1923, in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Coleman was a member of the LDS Church, had filled a mission in Australia from 1920-2and had been Elders Quorum president, ward teacher for 30 years, and active in scouting. Also, he was a Iogan temple worker. He had served on Smith-fielCity Council, and was act've in the American legion, having lcf n a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow; three sons and three Wil- d i daughters, DelMar W., and Eslie (Marilyn) both of Washington Terrace; Gary Kay Coleman and Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Krambule, both of Ogden; Sherwin W Centerville, and Mrs. Garth (Shirley) Larsen.
