Show r t, r . , : ,'J THURSDAY, OCTOBER f r. Hold Banquet The Sixth Ward High Priests held a banquet in the cultural hall Saturday ven ing with Ken Roe, High Priest leader, in charge. Leah and Harmon Johnson assisted by Emma and Olsen; Marvel and Arnold Nelson and Marilyn and Clifford Craig were in charge of the meal. About 60 High Priests and wives, also widows and widowers of the ward were in attendance. Molly and Rosel Hyde, Smithfield celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary with LuAnn and Dell Tripp by going out to dinner at the Red Baron in Brigham City, Saturday evening. They enjoyed the food and visiting. Judy Doane, daughter of Mrs. Thelma Doane, Richmond attended the Utah Business Teachers Association meeting in Salt Lake City. Miss Doane was elected vice president of the association. She is the business teacher at Snow College in Ephriam. Hy-ru- Cook of the Citizen! Photo ai thii week'! Pamela Earley, daughter Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Earley, will become the bride of Thomas on Friday, Oct. 17, 1975. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Buford McDaniel of Malad, Idaho. to all friends and relatives. No formal invitations are being sent. of Pamela is a 1972 graduate of Sky View High School and is presently employed at Presto Products inc., in Lewiston. Thomas, a 1969 graduate of Malad High School, served three years in the army and is now employed at liyrum Feed and Grain. After returning from their honeymoon the newlyweds will make their home in An open house honoring the couple will be held that night at the Lewiston First and Fourth Ward cultural ball at 16 South Main Street. Club This issues Cook of the Week is an active mother of six children : Keith 10, Eric 8, Mary Jo 6, Curtis 4, Suzanne 2, and Cheryl, two weeks. Joy Larsen and her husband, Joe, operate their' dairy farm in Newton. Aside from her family obligations, Joy keeps busy sewing and keeping house. She also serves as the second counselor in Primary and the reporter for the North Cache Chapter of the Utah Young Homemakers. In what spare time die has she enjoys music and singing. Bake at 425 degrees for about 2 minutes on lowest oven rack. The musical program arranged by Leda Sutherland was presented by Douglas Baker, soloist, of Logan and formerly of Roy. Ms mother, Liz S.' Baker' of" Royals formerly of Newton. Also on the program was Steven Petersen as soloist, Allison Turner and Tammy LaVoy as accompanist. Hows My Douglas sang Good Friends and Boy, from musicals he sang three songs. As a tribute to his grandmother, Mildred Sutherland, he sang My Grandmothers Hands. 14-in- (pre-fried- 10-1- Steve Petersen sang several swigs from musicals. Their children are Cindy, 15, Elizabeth. 12, Jennifer 8, Thomas 6, and baby Rebecca, only one week old. They moved from Tulare, California. Her folks are from Logan and his from California. Mo-zell- El-de- Club Makes Plans The Smithfield Book of Mormon Club met at the Downs cabin in Birch Glen up Logan Canyon. During the meeting a new organization of the presidency was done. President is Margareta Balls; vice president is Nora Richards; secretary is Birdie Downs. Plans were made for the coming year. They plan on studying the Pearl of Great Price. A card was signed and sent to the family of Hazel Niel son who was a member of the club. Mrs. Downs served a lunch to 10 members and two visitors assisted by Sharon and LaRee Downs. A musical program was given by Karen Keller and company of North Logan. Regi Hampton and Eva .. Munk .ven?. special guests. The meetinjg will be held Oct. 16 at the home of Lenore Coburn.
