In fact the salesman let it be known he wasn't leaving until Bob had Ixiught the machine. The word freedom" usually discussed to the fullest extent through the month of July brings to mind several kinds of freedom. I get a great kick out of Womens Lib. Here, they're fighting to free the homemaker who remains the only true liberated human being. So says Now my husband does not like to be cornered especially by a salesman so we its just that the salesman wouldn't take no" lor an answer. What Im getting at is Im so lucky, I can't believe it. You see, that vacuum is all mine. Bob ranks this cleaner as a personal gift like perfume or jewelry. Since he had made this marvelous gift available to me he felt it only right that he should be able to buy something for himself. When the thing comes on sale my dear, sweet, generous husband is going to buy himself that new rifle scope hes been dying to buy. After all, I got a new vacuum cleaner, didn't I? Personally, it's worth him getting the new scope but I'll never tell him that. FOOTNOTE: The final blow came when, after the water faucet in the bath tub started to leak and after he fixed it Bob let out this immortal phrase, I fixed YOUR bathtub." Equality. must-wer- for instance. Last week we purchased a fabulous vacuum cleaner. Now that might seem trivial in some eyes but believe me after what Ive used to clean my floor a new vacuum resembled a key to jail door. When the man came to the door and asked me what kind of cleaner I used 1 showed him. I bent over and proceeded to pick up the surface lint and debris off my shag. I told him it was completely silent but it (meaning me) didnt have the greatest suction attachment in the world. When I told the salesman the machine (meaning me) operated silently Bob went into coughing convulsions. Well, maybe I mentioned the fact I needed a new cleaner once or twice or three-wel- l, anyway on with the story. After purchasing said cleaner-huh-I'll MR. AND MRS.
