Johnson, both of Great Falls, Montana; 10 grandchildren and 1911, Louisa Wheeler Stephenson. He was an oil field worker. He is survived by a son, Steven; two sisters, Louise Jackson, Layton, and Nedra Wood, Clearfield. the Lewiston Second ward chapel for Henry Hodges, 64, under the direction of Bishop Boyce Pitcher. Hodges, a well known Lewiston resident, died Tuesday night in Salt Lake City following an extended illness. He was born in Salt Lake City May 1, 1910, a son of August and Matilda Kivin-ieErickson. His parents died while he was just a young child, and he was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Hodges of Lewiston. He took overthe operation of the Hodges Store in Lewiston from his adopted parents in two n. Burial was in the Smith-fiel- d City CVii.rlpry with dedication of the jr:iv l Lawrence Weeks, a Effie L. Wiser Funeral services were conducted Saturday at noon in the Lewiston First-Fourt- h Ward Chapel for Effie Wiser, 88, with Bishop Garr B. Morrison officiating. She died in a Logan rest home. She was born Feb. 22, 1886, in Lewiston, to Samuel F. and Rebecca Ann Telford Wiser. She had been a former employe of the Cache County recorder's office, and had been registrar for the health department in LewisLe-no- re 1943. He had also been a field-ma- n for the Amalgamated Sugar Company, and had been employed by Thiokol Chemical Corp. in Box Elder County for 10 years. Being active in LDS Church and civic affairs, he had served for eight years as a ward clerk in the Lewiston Second Ward, had been secretary of the Cub River Irrigation Company, and had served as secretary of the Cache Horse Racing Association. He was active in functions of the Boy Scouts of America and for several years was president of the Cache Valley Baseball League. He married Dora Dunkley on Nov. 23, 1933, in the Logan LDS Temple. Surviving are his widow of Lewiston; two sons and a daughter, Robert Hodges of Bountiful, Karl Hodges, Logan, and Debra Hodges, Lewiston. Also surviving are two grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Frank Shoulty, Brigham City; Dale Cun- ton. Survisors include a sister, r, Mrs. Lowell (Marjorie) of Preston, and a brother, Ervin D. Wiser, Moses Lake, Wash. HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE turned out for the Pepperidge Farm open house last Friday. They toured the plant and then were treated to Pepperidge Farm goodies in the cafeteria. He married Valeria Weeks January 26, 1921 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Johnson had been a M.
