The James' daughters and granddaughter of Salt take City also visited the Plowmans. Adam Plowman, small grandson of Wilda and Ruel Plowman, of Provo whose parents are De Ann and James Plowman is visiting his grandparents. Mrs. Nora Richards and Mrs. Vesta Hansen then drove to Logan and attended the displays at Central Park. They reported it was a nice fair The Smithfield LDS 6th Ward held their ward party Tuesday evening in Mack Park. The primary children dressed as pioneer children participated in a parade. Neil Holt carried the American flag and led the parade around the park. The Primary scouts carried their Troop No. 8 flag. Games were played. A planned pot luck supper of chicken, potatoes, and salads and rolls plus watermelon was served. ..Enjoying a vacation to Park were Yellowstone Grace and Elaine Peterson of Smithfield and Darlene and Vernal Smith and family of Richmond. Darlene Smith is a daughter to Grace Peterson. The Smiths took their camper and they all rode together. They enjoyed five days, staying in Montpelier Friday night. Sightseeing Afton and Jackson Hole. Wyn.. doing some shopping also. They entered the Park Saturday and stopped ' at Grants Village and stayed at Mammouth Park. They also stayed at Fishing Bridge, visited Old Faithful and other spots of interest reporting it rained their last night in Yellowstone Park. Baby girl Hodges, daughter of Karen and Gerry Hodges of Sojourner Park No. 7. Smithfield. made her appearance July 22. at the Logan LDS Hospital weighing in at six pounds and eight ounces and was 20 inches long. She is their first child. Grandparents welcoming the new one are Devora and Alden Hodges. Smithfield. and Amy Jensen of Brigham City also great grandparents Media and Mark McBride of Smithfield. The baby is to be named Ginger and her daddy works for the Cache County School District. ..Marian Bishoff flew to Evansville. Indiana to welcome a new granddaughter, she was born to Jane and Bill Austin. She is their first child and 10th grandchild for Marian and Dean Bishoff. This makes 5 granddaughters and S grandsons. She was born 6 July and will be named Annalee. She weighed nine pounds, eleven ounces and was 21 inches long. Mrs. Bishoff was able to attend the district LDS Conference. Mrs. Bishoff was entertained by two different families. went out to eat. and visited New Harmony, an old town, of about 30 miles from Evansville. Mr. Austin goes to school at the University of Indiana at Evansville and works for the. state road, during the summer. Mr. Austin is originally from Evansville.
