Show o Glover Reunion Held Sociable descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Forty-nin- e at Crystal Glover met Springs on Sunday for their reunion. annual Three Citizen also attended the affair which included a picnic lunch, program, swimming, visiting and picture taking. Dorothy Craw of Richmond is this weeks "Cook of the Week. She was raised in Milford, Utah, and moved to Richmond from Las Vegas, Nevada. Dorothy is the mother of five children, Jeff, Gaye, Tami, Kim and Heather. Her husband, Charles, is an electrical engineer at Utah State Uftiversity. Besides liking to cook Dorothy enjoys many kinds of crafts, for both gifts and for her own home and family. The Craws live at 87 South 2 East in Richmond. One of Dorothys favorite recipes is Chinese Peas with Water Chestnuts. She has, in the past grown' the peas herself and she says they are quite easy to grow. But she says that they can be found in many supermarkets. Chinese Peas With Water Chestnuts 18 C. finely chopped raw pork 1 Tbs. peanut or salad oil 2 Cups Chinese sugar peas (in the pods) 2 C. finely sliced water chestnuts tsp. monosodium glutamate C. chicken broth 1 Tbs. cornstarch 2 Tbs. cold water Fry pork in hot oil. Add to peas and chestnuts and monosodium glutamate then add broth. Steam covered, over high heat about three minutes. Combine cornstarch and cold water. Push vegetables to one side and add cornstarch mixture to broth. Cook and stir till slightly thick. Add salt to taste. Makes 3 to 4 servings. I 1 This dish is delicious with fried rice. Another of Dorothy's favorites is Bean Salad. Although the recipe doesn't call for it she sometimes likes to add some cocktail shrimp to the salad for a different twist.
