Show JUNE THURSDAY, League Holds Family Visits Historical Sites by Laree Bodily Lewiston . Mrs. McKay Rawlings, with her children, Max, Mark, and Rhonda, have returned from an extensive tour which was conducted by James Bradley of the Logan LDS Institute. They visited Independence, Mo., and Liberty Jail. At Washington, D. C., they saw, among other points of w, interest, the magnificent new LDS Temple. They went to Niagara Falls where they were met on the Canadian side by David and Marva Myler Jensen of Buffalo, N. Y., formerly from Cache Valley. From there the tour continued to Palmyra, N. Y., where they visited the Joseph Smith, Martin Harris and Peter Whittmer homes. The Kirtland Temple,; Carthage Jail, and a day at Nauvoo were included on the agenda. The tour then followed the Pioneer Trail to South Pass at Independence Rock. The 41 tour members greatly enjoyed their three weeks of travel. Clifton. Hospital Visit On Sunday the Bodilys drove to Ogden to visit their daughter at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd El wood accompanied them and stopped at the home of their son Carlos and his family. Ressa and Fred Yantis and their daughter, Ann, of Council, Idaho, were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wheeler, for a week. The Bardo Bodily family and the Allan Wheeler family spent part of the day visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wheeler, for Fathers Day. Lions Club Lewiston Lions Club, at their regular dinner meeting Wednesday, heard Glen R. Winslow, supervisor of family services in Cache, Box Elder and Rich counties, relate the purposes and aims of the organization. He also told of many of the problems which arise. Brooks Tarbet, sponsored by the Lions at Boys State, reported on his participation there. Zone Chairman David Ashcroft installed the new officers for the club with Mervin J. Bodily as president; Evan Hall and Stephen Bodily, vice presidents; Omar Bergeson, secretary; Larry McKnight, treasurer; L. D. A sister, Mrs. Mary Downs of Quincey, Wash., telephoned the Bomans that afternoon. Len and Ella Mae Johnson and their new baby, Kenneth, were in Huntington, Utah, Thursday to Saturday to visit with Homer and Meeting Thelma Mills, who are foster parents of Ella Mae. Visit Family Lewis and Donna Singer and children of Kayenta, Ariz., have been visiting the Don Van Dyke family. Mr. and Mrs. Ingram Smith of Arizona are visiting with their son and daughter-in-laLaVor and Viva Smith and family.
