Show e int uiLin IHUKSDAT, JUNE 27, 1974 Couple Married Benson and Miller in Logan LDSyTemple to Wed Friday Miss Joelle Hyer and Mr. and Mrs. Garth J. Benson, Newton, are proud to announce the forthcoming marjriage of their daughter, Terf, to Ernest A. Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Miller. Ilyrum. The marriage will be solemnized in a double ring ceremony in the Logan LDS Temple on Friday. The couple will be honored at a wedding dinner hosted by the parents of the groom. That evening a formal reception will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 at Rosella Manor in Providence. All friends and relatives are invited to at Gay-li- n Sharp were married on Wednesday, June 19 in the Logan LDS Temple. The couple will greet guests at a wedding reception to be held in their honor Friday evening in the Lewiston First-Fourt- h Ward recreation hall, from p.m. Hosts will be the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Hyer, Nampa, Idaho, former residents of Lewiston. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray G. Sharp of Midvale. Joelle is a 1970 graduate of Sky View High School and Seminary and in 1972 received an associate degree at Ricks College. tend. Teri is a 1974 graduate of View Sky High School where she wras a cheerleader, a member of the sophomore Snow Frolic, Junior Prom and Homecoming royalties. She was active in music and is a graduate of Smithfield LDS Seminary. Erni is a 1973 graduate of Sky View High School and Smithfield LDS seminary. He is employed by his father at the E. A. Miller and Sons Packing Co. 8-- 10 After their honeymoon they will make their home in Hyrum. TERI BENSON AND ERNEST A. MILLER president of Iota Xi Chapter of Lambda Delta Sigma and was president of her dorm. She is a senior at Brigham Young University, majoring in' interior design, and is presently employed as a window trimmer at Firmage Department Store in Provo. . While at Ricks she was Gaylin graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1969 and completed an LDS mission in the Southern California Spanish speaking mission. A senior at BYU, he is majoring in child development and family relations and recreation education. They will make their home1 in Provo where they both plan to complete their col. lege education. Couple Feted at Open House A party was held at the Richmond community center on June 22 for A.J. and Louise Mendenhall to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. The party was given by their seven children: James C. Mendenhall. Paul, Idaho; Rachel M. Anderson, Utah; Joyce Tre-monto- n, M. Fish, Glenallen, Alaska; LOYD ALLEN FIELD AND JANICE BODILY Bodily and Field Plan June Rites Planning a June 28 wed-- , ding are Miss Janice Bodily and Loyd Allen Field. Their, parents are Vertis and Norma Bodily and Kenneth and Alice Field. Following their marriage,' the couple will greet guests at a wedding reception to be given in their honor from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Lewiston 2nd Ward cultural hall, 10 South 1600 West. The brides attendants will be Valeen Buttars, LeAnn Kupfer, a sister, Marilyn Bodily, Cindy Field and Jeri . Stephenson. , Best man will be the grooms twin brother, Boyd Field. Miss Bodily graduated in from Sky View High School and four year seminary. This spring she graduated from LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. Field is a 1973 graduate of Twin Falls High School and has completed one year in 1973 auto mechanics at Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City. They will make their home in Twin Falls, Idaho after a honeymoon. . Arthur J. Mendenhall, Belle Fourche, S. D.; Susan Mendenhall, Anchorage, Alaska; Edward C. Mendenhall, and Margaret Mendenhall, Richmond, Utah. Since A. J. and Louise have had many neighborhood bread, milk and onion parties, their children included bread and onion sandwiches along with other refreshments in the buffet. Selections on the program included vocal selections by Susan Mendenhall, Rachel Anderson, Joyce Fish and Edward Mendenhall. There was a song and dance by Edward Mendenhall and a piano solo by Margaret Mendenhall. Grandchildren Austin and Rob Anderson, Marcia, Michael and Mary Alisa Mendenhall and Billy and Julie Fish along with friends from the audience sang, "Was 1st Das? Marcia and Michael each played a piano solo. Bill Fish said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "My Country Tis of Thee and the "Alaska State Song. A. J. and Louise were married in the Logan LDS Temple June 22, 1934. A. J. is the son of the late Arthur John and Olive Mendenhall of Richmond. Louise is the daughter of Lulu Corless, Paul, Idaho,' and the late Robert Edward ' Corless. A. J. and Louise met in' Paul, Idaho where he had. gone to thin beets.
