The first speaker was Berniece Good attended the funeral services Wednesday in the Fielding Ward chapel for Martha Lula Rasmussen Wood, 46, who died Sunday at her home in Fielding. Mrs. Wood was born in Clarkston Oct. 21, 1927, to Lars Joseph and Kate Dahle Rasmussen. She attended school in Clarkston and graduated from North Cache High School. On Feb. 27, 1947, married Glen H. Wood in Las Vegas, Nev. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LI)S Temple. They made their home in Fielding. She had been active in the LDS Church serving in sev- eral organizations, both ward and stake. She is survived by her husband of Fielding, one son and two daughters. Brent G. Wood. Franklin County farmers planted 9,100 acres of barley on irrigated land and 26,400 acres on land during 1973, an agricultural statistical report shows. Compiled by Richard C. Max, Boise, the report shows 59 bushels per acre harvested on the irrigated acreage and 33 on the Total barley production for the county was 858,000 bushels. This figure Compares to 2.457.000 total bushels harvested in Caribou County, 1.188.000 for Oneida County and 351,000 for Bear Lake. Caribou farmers planted some 28,500 acres on irrigated land and harvested 27,000 non-irrigat- ed non-irrigate- for 62 bushels. They also planted some 63,000 dryland acres with a yield of 39 bushels. For the state as a whole, there were 377,400 acres of barley planted on irrigated land and 457,600 planted on dryland for total production of 16,791,000 bushels. d.
