Gwendolyn has n o bro- thers or sisters, but enjoys all her "older family. Mrs. Douglas is a widow. Ellen Tuveson is married to Jim Tuveson. James C. Tuveson is the husband of the former Donna Godwin of Olympia. Smithfield News ' Cheryl and Chad Downs announce the arrival of their fourth child, a girl, born May 10 at Logan LDS Hos- pital. She weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces and was 23 inches tall. The Downses live at 97 West 1st South Street in Smithfield. Their other children are Heather, 6; Grayon, 4; and Mathew, 2: Lucky grandparents are Lori and Glen Downs, and Louise and Jack Hampton, all of Smithfield. Great-grandmoth-ers are Eva Munk and Birdie Downs, both of Smithfield; Minnie Griebel of Billings; and Regie Hampton of Sheridan. Christene Annes father at teaches the sixth grade ' Providence School. The Newton LDS Ward Relief Society service was held Tuesday, with President LaWana Larsen conducting. The invocation was given by Roxanne Salisbury. The music was under the direction of L o i s Jones, chorister, and Nola Jenkins, pianist. Marlene Larsen presented the cultural-refineme- nt lesson, "Republic of the Philippines, Land of Tropical Beauty. She was ably assisted by Donna Christiansen, who told of the experiences and livelihood of her brother and sister-in-laTracy and Marie Daines, who lived in the Philippines for several years when Tracy served in the United States Naval Reserve.
