Show 20 THE CITIZEN Lewiston Lions Benson Briefs Enjoy Picnic AUG. 23, 1973 - THURSDAY, 1973 Utah State Champions and Northern League Champions The Lewiston Lions club members and their partners enjoyed dinner and a program at the Lions picnic shelter in the Lewiston recreation park last Wednesday evening. President LaMonte Wheeler conducted the affairs of the evening, followed by chairman Joseph Cornish, who introduced Mark Flammer, Cathy Chambers, Holly Flammer, Jamie Summers, Ronda Hall and Ruthie Harrison. The group presented several musical numbers and Jean Ernstrom gave a humorous reading. Jerry Jorgensen, Evan Hall, Stephen Bodily and Mervin Bodily gave reports on various projects of the local club. Couple Returns From California Trip By Gladys Loosle Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Weaver have returned to their home in San Jose, Calif., after spending six weeks visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stuart. Mr. and Mrs. Brigham M. Griffin attended the wedding in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday of their granddaughter, Nancy Buttars, and Mr. Ronnie Daniels of Roanoke, Va. Hie bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Buttars of Ogden. Visiting the Griffins during the weekend were granddaugh ters and families, Mrs. Rita Booth, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Julie Blasko, Salt Lake City. Also visiting at the Griffin home and with Mrs. Mary Buttars were Mrs. Edward Buttars and daughter, Mary, of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Radford, Salt Lake City, have been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Ida Rosenlof. Mrs. Rosenlof at the present time is living in a trailer house near Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Hansen.
