Davis of Clifton, recently completed a U. S. Air Force Reserve Officers Corps Training (AF-ROT- field training encampment at Fairchild AFB, AVash. During the encampment, cadets become familiar with the life and activities on Air Force bases and can examine career opportunities in which they might wish to serve as officers. Cadet Davis is a member of the AFROTC unit at Utah State University. He is a 1966 graduate of Went Side high school, Dayton, Ida. The cadets wife, Ada, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.- A. Assisting in the nursery were Julie Pitcher, Billie Alvey and Judy Pond. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Russ Layne have been Mr. and Mrs. Alan Layne and family of Downey, Calif. Alan is head coach at Downey high school and a graduate of North Cache high school and Utah State University. Mrs. Layne is the former Bonnie Waite of Hyde Park. She is a graduate of North Cache high school and former student at Utah State University. Both are active in the Downey Fourth ward where Alan is a member of the high council and Bonnie is the social relations instructor in Relief Society. Members of their family include Lisa, 8; Suzanne, 6; Kimberly, 5, and Victoria, 1. The family will also visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Waite of Hyde Park before returning to Downey. Commissioner Ross Plant recently represented the Utah Highway Commission at an American Association of State Highway Officials conference in San Antonio, Tex. LARSEN Debbie Baird, Glade Larsen Plan For August Wedding COVE Mr. and Mrs. RonBaird, Kemimerer, Wyo., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Debbie, to Glade J. Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claytor M. Larsen, Cove. of Debbie is a graduate Sky ATiew high school and seminary. She was a member of the Vistauns marching corps and a Cache County Dairy Princess attendant. She has attended LDS Business College and is presently employed at Parker, Jackson, ald AV. Mann, a member of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. Glade is also a graduate of Sky View high school and seminary. He wiM graduate from Utah Technical College and is presently employed in Salt Lake City where the couple will make their home. They will be married Friday, Aug. 20.
