Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Bosen enjoyed a visit Aug. 1 with his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bosen of the Litton Power Plant near St. Charles. Sunday they received a phone call that he had died suddenly and funeral services were held Thursday in St. Charles. Burial was in Hit Riverdale cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Mrs. Dallas Daw and daughters, Dixie and Carma, of Idaho Falls, are here for a few weeks visiting with her parents, Bishop and Mrs. Porter. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth entertained at a patio dutch oven dinner Tuesday evening. Invited were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Oliverson and family of Whitney, Mrs. Nadine Fryar and children, Don Newbold and Mrs. Janet Jensen of Preston, and Mr. and Mrs. Oral Layne of Lewiston. Just prior to the guests leaving, Mrs. Oliverson fell and broke her ankle and will be in a cast for six weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman J. Sharp have a new granddaughter. She was born July 31 to Mr. and Mrs. Alden Sharp of Salt Lake City and weighed six pounds 15 ounces. She will be named Mindy. Mr. Sharp brought his other two daughters, Stefanie and Natalie, to visit with their grandparents for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Turner and children of Centerville spent Saturday with the Lyman Sharp family. On July 27 Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Beutler, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Palmer of Preston, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Chambers of Montpelier, the Lloyd Beutler family of Ogden, Mrs .Violet Thompson of Salt Lake City, LeGrand Bingham, Joseph Perry and John Gailey of Clifton went to the Salt Lake airport to see Elder Wesley Beutler, son of the Ernest Beutler's, leave by plane for the Guatemala LDS mission.
