Show 1 THE CITIZEN April Delta Kappa Gamma Meets In Soda Springs Iota Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, international society for teachers, was held Saturday at the Cedar View Supper Club in Soda Springs. The hostesses were Gwcn Stalker, June Hansen, Beth Conlin and Marva Mickelson. Miss Irene Smith of Idaho Falls, state president, visited the meeting and gave timely remarks to the members. e A tribute to Mrs. Ada reof Preston, who has tired from teaching, was given by Vera Young. The Iota Chapter members presented her with a gift. Those present from the different areas were Marguerite Jindlay, Gertrude Freeman, Rita Gorton, Virginia Muir. Mary Nielsen, Ruby Sorenson and Edith Steele of Soda Springs, Marva Mickelson and Henrietta Ilogan of Bancroft, Gwen Stalker, Vera Young, Lula Williams and Beth Conlin from Grace, Clarissie Anderson, Lark Bateman, Mildred Clayton, Lucille Crawford, Barbara Minnie Mahlock, Grandy, Mcrinda Sparks and Helen Whitman of Bear Lake, Ada Condi e and LaReen Lowe of Preston. Con-di- 17, 1969 Family Members Fete Father Seventy-Nin- e The family of Henry Atkinson paid tribute to him on his 87th birthday April 12. Mr. Atkinson was presented with a photograph album containing many pictures of his family members. Eight of Mr. Atkinson's 12 children are still living. They are Von Atkinson, Mrs. Louis (Dessa) Sant, Orson Atkinson, Mrs. John (Leda) Sampson, Mrs. Alferd (Elda) Peterson, Mrs. Merlin (Donna) Coburn, Mrs. Tomas (Twila) Wilkins, and Mrs. Wick (Fontelie) Christensen. All were present except Orson. He has 42 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren, Mr. Atkinson, who spent most of his life in Treasure-ton-, now lives in Franklin where he is still active and enjoys life.
