Mrs. Viola Larsen received word last week from her friend, Lillian Nelson Christensen of Caldwell, of the death of her husband, Charlie Christensen. They were former Mink Creek residents. A funeral was held in Caldwell April 2. He was taken to Wendell for buriaL Mrs. Christensen had visited the week before with friends in Mink Creek, Mr. and Mrs. William Crane, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Larsen, Mrs. Mildred Keller and Mr. and Mrs. James Baird. She was accompanied by her son, Kenneth Nelson of Layton. She reported Mr. Christensen was feeling better then but died of pneumonia that Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jensen attended the funeral of her uncle, Charlie Christensen, in Wendell Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lar sen attended the funeral of his cousin in Mantua last week.
