Eastern Idaho, therefore, often loads the way in the of eventual determination winners in elections, and they will not necessarily be from the same party. In the fourth week before the Nov. 5 election, it was a foregone conclusion that Republican Richard M. Nixon will win handily in Eastern Idaho, taking every county. It also was apparent that incumbent Democratic Sen. Frank Church would be the winner in Eastern Idaho over Republican Rep. George V. Hansen if the election were held today. This was a consensus drawn from talking to Republican leaders. Most Democratic leaders think Church will "win big" in the area. Trying to determine the size of the vote for third party candidate George Wallace was impossible. He has pockets of strong and active support, but there was only guessing from leaders of the major parties as to the number of voters he will attract. One thing is certain. There is no real enthusiasm in Eastern Idaho for any of the candidates for the presidency. Nixon obviously is considered the best of the three, ur to put it, as did so many persons with whom I talked, Nixon is JOHNSON'S TUESDAY DRUG as a I'um.ic sKiivins LISTS NEXT WEEK'S SCHOOL LUNCH MENU (Eastsidc Schools) FRIDAY, NOV. 1 Hotdogs on Buttered Bun llashbrowns Cabbage Salad Cookies Milk MONDAY 4 S Ham and Beans Vrgctablc Jcllo Salad Celery Stick Bread and Butter Apple Pie Milk WEDNESDAY 6 Beef and Brown Gravy Mashed Potatoes Spinach Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce Bread, Butter Milk THURSDAY 7 Pizza Buttered Corn Apricots SOUD Peanut Butter Cookies Milk Barbecue on Buttered Bun French Fries Apple Milk JOHNSON'S DRUG PHONE PRESTON 852-01- P 'THIS TIME, VOTE LIKE YOUR WHOLE WORLD DEPENDED ON IT" camp"nothing" c for Demo-rall- Can- the Dolitical Most of the politicians believe that Wallace is getting is making some inroads there.
