Show Threshing Bee Date Changed The annual Cache Valley Thresher Day will be held Sept. 7 on Highway 91 south &iraraMtt- car m v- of Logan. This is the annual exhibition of early Cache Valley harvesting days, according to J. V. Jensen, Preston. The models used are those used in early days. There will be in operation a d threshing machine, a thresher, a ground driven combine, many gas and oil powered tractors, a one horse powered baler and binders, reaper truck, and cars. "If you have any relics of early Cache Valley you are invited to bring your models to this annual day. Because of the stormy weather the date has been changed from the Saturday before Labor day to the Saturday after Labor day," Mr. Jensen said. Anyone wishing to help or bring models may contact Mr. Jensen. horse-powere- Marie Nash, William Mayes Married In Temple Ceremony One of the late summer brides is the new Mrs. William Russell Mayes, the former Marie Nash, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Weldon A. The objective of the party, which will appear on the ballots of 50 states, is now to organize in every county of the United States, such as it has done in Franklin county. The motto of the party is "Stand Up For America-Wall- ace in '68," Mr. McKen-zi- e added. He said that the party has been organized to reverse present trends and return 'our government to the local people." The party, he said, recognizes the inspired conception of the constitution and rejects the platforms of the two main American parties as not giving the people a choice. The platform of the party hits out at the administration's handling of the war, the civil conditions at home which it partially blames on the Supreme Court, and "shackling" taxation. The platform voices opposiwar in tion to the Asia foHpral registration Of firearms, any government guaranteed income, protection of the criminal at the expense of his victim, allowance of "controlled" looting, arson, and desecrating public property, and the employment of communists in defense plants and trade with and aid to communist countries.
