Wise, District Director. In making the new ruling, Mr. Wise said that the regulation was decided by the Presidents Price Commission and announced in Washington, D.C., under a present period of economic control which began Sunday, Nov. 14. Mr. Wise explained that retailers must display base prices on those items in each department which have the highest sales volume or those items which account for 50 percent of the total sales in each department, whichever is less. Further, he said, a retailer must display the base prices on all food products sold, except those exempt from price controls generally the raw agricultural products. No increase in prices are allowable, he emphasized, until the base prices have been posted. In other words, a retailer must post his base price lists prior to raising any prices within his store. Mr. Wise generally defined the base prices as the ceiling price permitted for the period begin-ni- g August 15, 1971, and ending November 13, 1971. Prior to January 1, Mr. Wise explained further, if the price list is not posted then the store must provide a sign on each floor announcing the availability of ceiling price request forms at a designed place on each floor. Under this system a customer wishing price information may fill out the form and leave it with the merchant who has 48 hours to answer the request. As' planned by Los Angeles architects, the design will include a series of audio-visupresentations at the intersection or focal point of the enclosed mall which leads to more than 900,000 square feet of commercial space. The central theme arena in the mall juncture will contain a color organ consisting of banks of lights whioch are multicolored and sensitive to music. The intensity of the lighting is predicated upon the frequency of the accompanying music. In addition to the light show, a battery of 12 tape syncopated slide projectors will radiate from a central pod and project onto four screens various seasonal displays, scenic promotional material, and fashion show suppleal ments. According to the architects, the presentation techniques used at Fashion Place were refined in the firms experience in recent major exhibit design projects, including the Queen Mary story in the Museum of the Sea aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Fashion Place, one of Utahs largest commercial projects, is a development of Fashion Place Associates, a joint venture partnership with Ernest W. Hahn, Inc., of Hawthorne as a general partner. Construction of Fashion Place is expected to be completed by August of next year . Canyonlands National Park Bill Signed Into Law by President The President signed into law a bill which extends the boundaries of Canyonlands National Park to 337,258 acres in some of the most beautiful and remote areas of southern Utah. Senator Frank E. Moss, the bills sponsor, said the signing of the bill was the last step in what he had called the Senate's He who hesitates cannot leave unfinished business before the Park could be fully developed. the freeway. When the first bill establishing the Park was passed in the 88th Congress, we recognized the boundaries then established did not include several areas which were of national park quality and stature. Let him know, that he which the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death (James 5:20).. If you are a Christian, it is your business to try to win men to Christ God puts high value on the souls of men. Mark 8:37: What shall a man give in exchange for his soul? On one side of the scale God places all the treasures of the world. Cn the other 'side He puts a human soul. Ilis sense of value is that one soul is worth more than all the treasures of the world. You can properly evaluate things by putting in high value the things that God values highly. While you are winning souls, you need money in order to live and have the necessities of life.
