Mrs. Elna Wilde flew to Burmingham, Ala., to spend the holidays with her son and ' family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wilde and girls. Mr. Paul Barber went to Palo Alto, Calif, to be with his daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Hansen and son-in-la- w, family. Mr. Vern Gunn took the bus to New Orleans, La., to be with his daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dearden and family. Mr. and Mrs. Don Judd and son-in-la- w, family of Palo Alto, Calif., came home for the holidays, the first time in 12 years. A wonderful snow time was enjoyed by the children. They were also joined by Mr. and Mrs. David Judd and family of Bountiful. Needless to say grandma and grandpa Judd (Mr. and Mrs. Preston Judd and Uncle Randy Judd) were beaming with happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Don Judd and family spent equal time visiting her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Judd and family, who are entertaining their ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Woolstenhulme and daughter from San Diego, California, home for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Warner and Reeda spent Christmas Eve and day with their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Opheikens and daughter Stephanie, in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sargent enjoyed entertaining their granddaughter, Chalise a few days before Christmas, while mother and dad did some quick Christmas shopping before joining the family for Christmas eve and day. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sargent thanks grandma and grandpa for their help, they returned to Salt Lake City Monday eve. Christmas day guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. The Primary officers and teachers held a Christmas party on December 14. A ham dinner was served to them and their partners. Afterward, a musical number was given by Blaine Dearden, LaNae Ovard and Bonnie Ovard, accompanied by Carol Stephens. A beautiful Christmas story was given by Maxine Foster. Santa (Bill Roberts) and Mrs. Santa (Leola Richins) gave out gifts after hearing wishes from Pat Ovard and Gale Stephens. A very fun evening was had by all who attended. The party was under the direction of Sharlene Jones, Maxine Richins, LaNae Ovard, Beverly Mair and Pam Robbins. Lupe Dearden and Shirley C. Dearden were in charge of the program. " The Ward held their Christmas play on December 22. The name was "Christmas Is and the children of the Primary were the participants. Santa arrived at the end of the play to the delight of both young and old. A lovely Christmas program was given in Sunday School December 24. And a Christmas Cantata was presented that evening at church services. At that evening meeting, Larry Dearden was thanked and released from his position as YMMIA president. Sustained as the new president was Roger Fowles with counselors, Alvin Richins and Val Dearden and John Moore as secretary.
